This was the song my husband & I dance to at our wedding 23 3/4 years ago.
Now my reign as his wife is almost over because of his many, many affairs.
I still love him and this song brings back a time in my life that I will
never forget. I hope it meant something to him at the time. He was and
still is the love of my life and I have no idea how I will ever get him out
    of my heart.

My daddy co wrote this song. He’s been gone 9 yrs now. I miss him, but his
words and voice will forever live on. Not many can say that. Very proud to
    be his child!! :-)

  • John Batson says:

We were 19 YO I put this on the eight track player and ask here her to
marrie me. She said yes. We were both vergans. That night we vowed to
eachother. Three weeks later we wedd. She is gone now but that comentment
still stands. That was back in the day of 17 of june 1967. Not a day goes
by that she is not on my mind and in my heart. I do poems now with her on
my mind. If a flower grows and a bird sings I think of her. She is always
on my mind. I was called to druty and put her name on my arm. When I
    returned

I still get chills and some tears when I listen to this song. My husband
died several years ago (we’d been married almost 40 yrs then), and this was
“our song”. He loved Anne Murray (and me…lol). He used to sing this to
me while we danced in our living room. Sweet memories…make many, you will
    need them one day. ♥♥♥
